Disney World--Day 1

You know how you get overwhelmed with a task, so you put it off? That's me with this post. It's high time I get it done, though, so here we go!
Disney World was absolutely amazing. From the parking lot you have the option of taking the monorail or a ferry to the actual park. We chose the ferry for the first trip. It was so neat to float across the lake and see Cinderella's castle and the rest of the Magic Kingdom come into view.
We walked in as soon as the morning parade was going on, so we watched that, then we headed down Main Street to see what there was to see.
We got to the castle just in time to see the show that Mickey and the princesses put on. Christopher enjoyed it until Maleficent made an appearance.

After that show we found a cool place to sit because it was so dang hot! We went on the Peter Pan ride, saw Mickey's PhilharMagic show, and went on It's a Small World.

Next was Prince Charming's Regal Carousel
Of course, we had to try to pull the sword out of the stone!
Then we went to meet a few Princesses.

Leah was in heaven when she got to meet Cinderella. Her new goal in life is to be Cinderella at Disney World. That would not make me sad!
We stopped in the Pinocchio Haus for some food and to take a break. It was so cool and nice in there, Chris fell asleep.
We left the sleeping Chris with Grandma and Nanny so that we could take the girls to the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. This was easily our favorite ride. It is so fun! Here is Snow White's house that you pass at the end of the ride.
On our way back to the Pinocchio Village Haus the girls got to show off their hula hoop skills. They got a free slushy for doing this!
We met more princesses
Meeting Belle was a little bit different. They actually put the kids in a short play that tells the story of Beauty and the Beast. Leah got to be the salt shaker. It was so fun!
We were pretty done by this point, so we just stopped in a few stores on the way out.
